Friends,
What better of a time to get involved with The Movement? Unrest around the globe, financial chaos here in the states, what’s next!? Help us spread the awareness!
That being said, we have two events that we’d love to see some familiar faces at, PLEASE come join us!
1) The Green Cruise – Downtown Ferndale, MI this Saturday August 13th starting at 9:30 AM. Join us in celebrating the many forms of human-powered transit that help keep you and the planet healthy. The local chapter of the Zeitgeist Movement will be in attendance to support the Sierra Club and its green initiatives. Please check out http://michigan.sierraclub.org/semg/Green_Cruise.html for more details.
2) Third Wednesday Free Movie Night – This is the re-scheduling of: “Burzynski: the Movie” which is the story of a medical doctor and Ph.D biochemist named Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski who won the largest, and possibly the most convoluted and intriguing legal battle against the Food & Drug Administration in American history. Come on out and see this answer to the Cancer dilemma - http://www.facebook.com/?ref=home#!/event.php?eid=203291876392454. Regardless if you plan on joining us or not; if you know of anyone suffering from this awful ailment please share this documentary with them.

We plan to get all of the Michigan chapters together, please join us! If possible please bring instruments to jam with, sports equipment for the above options and/or some food to pass around, if you're attending.
July 20th
Our third Wed movie night for July will be on July 20th. This month we will be showing: http://www.burzynskimovie.com. As always the doors open at 7:00 and the movie starts at 7:30.
Burzynski, the Movie is the story of a medical doctor and Ph.D biochemist named Dr. Stanislaw Burzynski who won the largest, and possibly the most convoluted and intriguing legal battle against the Food & Drug Administration in American history.
His victorious battles with the United States government were centered around Dr. Burzynski's gene-targeted cancer medicines he discovered in the 1970's called Antineoplastons, which have currently completed Phase II FDA-supervised clinical trials in 2009 and could begin the final phase of FDA testing in 2011–barring the ability to raise the required $150 million to fund the final phase of FDA clinical trials.
When Antineoplastons are approved, it will mark the first time in history a single scientist, not a pharmaceutical company, will hold the exclusive patent and distribution rights on a paradigm-shifting medical breakthrough.
Once again, we hope to find you all well and hope to see you soon!
In solidarity,

Zeitgeist in the Hazel Park Memorial Day Parade
Friends,
This Memorial Day (Monday @ 10:00 AM) we have been accepted as a participant for the Hazel Park Memorial Day Parade.
We are calling out for volunteers to help us represent the local chapter of The Zeitgeist Movement this Memorial Day, Monday May 30th @ 10:00 AM. We will meet at The Phoenix Café at 9:30 to gather ourselves. Please email with any questions, comments, concerns.
During the parade we will simply be walking within the parade holding poster boards that we all individually make along with the 16’ x 4’ & 6’ x 3’ banners that we have. We plan on individually making signs (please inquire if you want to make a poster board to bring, there are strict rules). We will also be prepared with DVDs and postcards as hand-outs. Please help us print postcards (please email for a PDF of postcards)and burn DVDs of ZMF or Addendum if possible.
The dress code for all participants is as follows: We’re trying to get everyone to be in a similar outfit to have a uniform look: White T- shirt / sweatshirt, TZM logo (from www.zeitgeistmediaproject.com) to iron on (you can get the iron-on sheets at any craft store or office supply store such as Michaels or Staples, and any kind of pants / shorts.
We need volunteers to help out for this to be successful. We also need to know that you WILL be attending. Please respond to this email letting us know if YOU CAN attend the parade, confirmations only please.
We may be meeting Sunday at one of our homes or possibly the Phoenix to prepare some of the signs and uniforms. Please also let us know if you would be interested in meeting Sunday (probably mid-day or evening) to help out.
We are looking forward to this event; it will be one hell of a learning experience!
We look forward to your replies, once again please email with any questions, comments and/or concerns!
Respectfully,
The Zeitgeist Movement S.E. MI Chapter
